Short answer
Free guest post sites with clear, written link rules include G2 Learning Hub (two dofollow links stated), Convert (one dofollow link stated), Katalon and Tech Insider. For marketing reach, Search Engine Journal and HubSpot are the largest, with tighter link rules. RankBoostLabs, which runs this page, is free and replies within 7 days.
How we checked
- Fee. We read each site’s write for us page. “Free (stated)” means the page says so. “No fee mentioned” means the contributor route asks for no money. Paid sponsor options are noted when a site has one.
- Links. We opened recent contributor posts and checked whether their links carry nofollow, sponsored or ugc. “Stated” means the site’s own page promises that link type.
- Left out. Sites that charge writers, sell link placements, ask for a link swap, are closed, or had recent posts linking to gambling or adult sites.

- AllBusiness charges a 1,000 dollar fee when a post is accepted.
- The Data Scientist charges a screening fee plus an 80 dollar publishing fee.
- Martech Zone asks for an optional 150 dollar editorial cost and may not publish unpaid posts.
- Search Engine Land takes contributor posts by invitation only.
- Simple Programmer is closed to submissions.
- guptadeepak.com stopped free guest posts in July 2026 and offers sponsorship only.
- A few more had recent posts linking to gambling sites, asked for a link swap, or used their write for us page to sell placements.
Questions
What is a free guest post site?
A blog or publication that accepts articles from outside writers and publishes them without charging the writer. Most give you a byline and one link to your own site in return.
Do free guest post sites give dofollow links?
Many do, usually one link in the author bio or one in the body. Some add nofollow or ugc to every contributor link. The Links column above shows what we found on real posts.
Is guest posting for links against Google’s rules?
Google treats guest posts written mainly to place keyword rich links as link spam. Posts that inform readers are fine. Write for the reader first and use your brand name or a plain description as the link text.
How do I check if a link is dofollow?
Open a recent contributor post, right click the link and choose Inspect. If the link has no rel value, or its rel value has no nofollow, sponsored or ugc, the link is followed.
How often is this list updated?
